Tyler James

So I have very exciting news....my brother and my sister in law had my adorable nephew on April 15th. He is now 1 week old and let me just tell you....he is perfect and adorable! When Ryan and I got to the hospital to see him he was all snuggled up in his fuzzy blanket and he was so content and sweet. I held him immediatly..lol...and I didn't want to let him go. When Ryan and I were pulling the blanket off him to look at his toes and legs and hands he shot his cute little itty bitty legs straight up in the air. It was so adorable! He has the softest skin and his toes and fingers are long and skinny....lol...except for his big toes they are cute and chubby. He has perfect coloring and the most adorable bottom lip...when he pouts it is so cute! I am totally in love with him.

We had dinner at my parents this past Sunday and once again I grabbed Tyler and held him for most of the night. It is so amazing to just sit there and hold him and stare at him all day and night. Obviously I love both of my nephews equally but when Chris and Alli had Blake I was so excited and he was so fun but I was still pretty young and self absorbed then and I had a connection with him in a young aunt way. I think this time around with Tyler, I was having more of a maternal connection with him because I want a baby so bad. With Blake I couldn't wait for him to get bigger so I could crawl around with him and talk and play with him and with Tyler I love how small and sweet he is and I just want to hold him. I got to feed him and burp him too. It was wonderful. Blake is so cute with Tyler. He is going to be such a good big brother and they are gonna be best friends. Poor Blake was having a rough day Sunday...but after a quick ride with his Daddy he was back to his funny and adorable self. We played with blocks and Thomas the Train and he was so funny and so smart!

It was really great to spend more time with my brother and sister in law. I don't get to see them nearly enough and let's be honest...I have the most adorable nephews ever!!!! Here are some pics of Tyler James and Blake....

I am Back!

Okay....so I have been gone for awhile. Ryan and I have been so so busy. A lot has changed since the last post so I will make a very quick update...

Unfortunately Ryan and I lost our pregnancy. I had a molar pregnancy, which is basically just a bad pregnancy. I found out at about ten weeks and had a D&C procedure shortly after. We were pretty devastated but we understand what happened and that it was just a fluke thing that can happen sometimes. We didn't do anything to make it happen and there was nothing we could have done to prevent it. Because of the type of pregnancy I was advised not to get pregnant again for a year. This is not set in stone but it is typical for a molar pregnancy. I was even more upset about this news but Ryan and I have decided that things do happen for very important reasons and we have faith that it will all work out when it is supposed to. For now we are focusing on getting me healthy and ready for when the time comes to try again. I have to go to the doctor every week and get blood drawn to make sure my pregnancy hormones are coming down. This will take some time but so far they have been coming way way down. Once the levels are less then two, my body will no longer think it's pregnant and the doctor will start working with me to get pregnant again etc. Until then Ryan and I are focusing on our marriage and each other. I want to quickly thank my family for all their support during this time. If I did not have all of you to talk to and relate to I would not have gotten through this very well. You are all so wonderful and I love you very much. Ryan....thank you for being my best friend and taking such good care of me while I recovered...I am so lucky!

Both our jobs are going great and we both received really great raises this past month. My schooling is going great and I am very proud and excited to say that I will be done with school in November and will be starting my student teaching. I am so excited about graduating and starting my teaching career. I am also really nervous but I think I will be a great teacher!

Since the pregnancy I have been wanting to really focus on my health and start losing weight. I figure the healthier I am the better my chances of getting pregnant are and the better the pregnancy will go. I have joined a gym in Tooele that I love and I also have joined another membership called The Difference. This membership is so awesome. A few of my friends also joined and we love it. The Difference is a club that does a bunch of different aerobics classes throughout the week. I get up every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:00 AM and go to a 1 hour class. The classes vary throughout the week from step, kickboxing etc. They are really fun and give me an intense workout! I am almost dead once the hour is up...lol...but it is so worth it. Then every Monday and Wednesday night we go to Pilate's, which let me tell you, that is one hard class! I couldn't even walk after the first few times. We also do a belly dancing class on Wednesdays and we have so much fun in that class. It gives your abs a great workout! The other days I go to the gym. It has been a lot of work and it takes up a lot of my time but I am enjoying it a lot. I haven't dropped a ton of weight yet but I have lost several inches and gained some muscle. I am lucky I have such awesome friends because they go with me and support me even though they are like size zeros!

Well I think that covers most of the catching up stuff right now...I plan on keeping my blog up a lot better now. I know it is important to my family to see what is going on in my life. I will be posting about Ryan's surgery and my adorable new nephew Tyler in the next day or two...pictures are coming as well!

Finally....a positve result!

Okay, so it has been awhile since I have posted so I better catch everyone up.

January was a busy month for Ryan and I. First thing first....we found out that we are pregnant on January 17th! When I first took the test and saw a positive sign, I was in shock because the last few months all I saw was negatives. I ended up buying like 5 more tests to take because I had to be sure before I started calling everyone and sure enough they were all positive. We were so very excited. I went to the doctor the next day to get bloodwork done to confirm the pregnancy and that is when the month got a bit scary. My bloodwork came back showing I was definitly pregnant but my HCG levels (the pregnancy hormone) were very low. I ended up having to go get my blood drawn every two days for about two weeks. Most of you know that me and blood do not get along. I usually pass out every time and just a month before I found out I was pregnant I had to get blood drawn and I had a bad experience and passed out three or four times in the doctors parking lot...it was awful. So those two weeks of blood giving were not easy for me. Luckily I had my momma and Ryan and they came to my appointments with me to support me. Having my blood drawn started to get easier and easier. Good thing too, because I will be getting poked and proded a lot during this pregnancy. Well my HCG levels doubled and even tripled every two days so the doctor gave me two thumbs up and said he would see me when I was nine or ten weeks along. I was so relieved to know that everythingw as okay. I am six and a half weeks along and my due date is September 26th! These next eight months are going to be crazy but Ryan and I are so excited! So far I have had no morning sickness, so I have been lucky in that department but I better knock on wood because I pray I don't get it. I have had lot's of other symptoms and I call the nurse at my doctors office a million times a week...LOL. It is my first pregnancy so everything scares me and I am scared to use half the stuff in my house! Ryan and I even picked names already. If we have a girl we will name her Kaydence Grace and if we have a boy we will name him Keegan Ryan. I love both of those names and so does Ryan...which is amazing because he hated every other name I thought of. Well if anyone has any great advice for pregnancy and what not, send it my way because I am going to need it!

December Catch Up

Well December has been a crazy month for Ryan and I. We have been trying to get ready for Christmas and enjoy this wonderful time of year. Ryan and I are currently trying to get pregnant and let me just say it has been tough. I started clomid in November for the first time and we just found out that it didn't work. We were very sad but we went to the doctor and got another perscription, this time he doubled it YIKES, and we are going to try again. I have always been one of those girls that loves kids and I have grown up my whole life wanting a big huge family to care for one day. I am trying to not get discouraged but it is so hard. I know that I will be blessed in some way with kids but it may not be the way I had hoped for. I have a few medical problems that will make having children of my own very difficult, but hey, we are up for the challange...right babe! Anywho...hopefully this time around it will work, I can't imagine a better way to start the new year.

This month we had Ryan's work party for Energy Solutions. Now that they own the old Delta Center, we got to attend a Jazz game this year. We first went to the Salt Palace for Dinner. It was really yummy! The company had a lot of prizes and give aways this year. One of the prizes were ticket upgrades to the Jazz game. Well....they pulled Ryan's name and we ended up winning third row floor seat tickets worth $500 a piece. We also got VIP passes and parking. The VIP passes allowed us to be part of the Lexus club, which is for high profile members. We got a free open bar all night and the most amazing food you could imagine. We were so close to the players I could pretty much tough them and Larry H. Miller was only 7 seats down from us. It was such a fun experience. It just happened to be my first Jazz game ever and the tickets we had before that were wayyyyyyy in the nosebleeds so it was such a great bonus. After the game we got to stay in a really nice hotel room. It was a really fun night!

I want to take a moment to talk about my family. I often think about my family and how lucky I am to have them. My mom and dad are just amazing. They are the most supportive and wonderful people I know. I can always count on my Dad to lift my spirits and make me smile. There are days when I get upset or sad and all I have to do is call him and he literally takes all the bad away. My mom is my very best friend and she does so much for me. I look up to her in more ways then she could imagine. I hope that Ryan and I have a marriage like there's 10, 20, 30 , etc. years down the road. I am just so thankful to have them as parents and as friends and I really miss them. We only live about 40 minutes away but I don't get to see them as often as I would like and I just hope they always know how much they mean to me. My brother and sister-in-law are also so special to me. I coudn't ask for a better brother in this world. He has always been there for me and has been such a great example to me. I have watched him be a wonderful brother, a loving husband, and an amazing daddy. Luckily for me...he married a great woman, whom I love very much. Alli is such a great person and she has shown me more then she knows about love and patience. I am so lucky to have her as a sister and as a friend. My nephew Blake is the sweetest and funniest little boy on this planet. I just love him to death. I always pull out the pictures I have of him and look at them and laugh...and cry too because I don't see him near enough. He is such a special and loved kid and now they have another one on the way that we get to love too. I also want to mention my Grandpa and Grandma....they are by far the most amazing people you will ever meet. All I can say about them is that I love them so much and I would not be who I am if it wasn't for their love and words of wisdom. I hope that as my life continues I learn to be as selfless and caring as they are. Our whole family is so lucky to have them in our lives and I cherish every moment I have had with them. The rest of my family....Tracy, Josh, Brian, Uncle Mike and Suzi, Easton, Braydon.....I love you guys so much and I think about you always. I am so thankful to have all of you in my life. Your support and love through out the years means so much to me and I love all the memories that we continue to make.....See you all soon at the Christmas parties..I LOVE YOU!

New at this....

Okay....so I decided that I needed to join the fun and create one of these blogs. I will just introduce us real quick. We are the Pitt's...LOL...Ryan and Dani Pitt. We just got married on October 13th and it was the most amazing day of my life. We have a sweet dog named Roxi and she is a Maltese. We love her very much and she is pretty much our child. In fact we spoiled the crap out of her this Christmas. Anyways...Ryan and I have a home that we built in 2006 in Tooele. We LOVE living in Tooele. I only wish I was closer to my family because I get home sick a lot! We both have amazing families and we are very dedicated to all of them. We also have a group of friends that we are incredibly close with and we consider them family to the fullest. Ryan works at Energy Solutions as a health physicist and I work at Doppelmayr CTEC doing accounting. I also go to school full time to be a teacher....I only have about 11 months left and I can't wait to teach! I know I was meant to do it. Well that is about us for as far as introductions go. I'm excited to be able to keep in touch with my family this way...love you all!
